Lucy joined her new family today. Thank you to all who showed interest and spread the word and also to those of you who sent well wishes on my situation.

Much appreciated, my fellow OB'ers

That sucks dude. But if I had to find a home for my dog the people of the OB would be a great place to start. She'll (the dog) end up in a good home.

Yes, and kennel trained. She's an indoor-kept dog.

I asked a legitimate question because I am single and travel a lot for work.

I'd take her in a heartbeat but I don't think I'd be doing her justice if I were to leave her alone for a week while I break off to get work done.

There is no way you can leave a dog alone for a week.

I felt bad leaving her for 12 hours for my shifts.

If you are away for that long at a time, a dog isn't for you and I wouldn't want to put my dog in a home where that's a possibility. No offense.

You are absolutely right. I'm sorry for not being able to take her.

Good luck; you seem like a good dude.

do you want her back? Trying to figure out if you need her fostered or you just need to get rid of her.
I can probably take one more as long as you don't mind her being kenneled with three other dogs during the day. She'd be in an air-conditioned utility room at night with four other dogs. She'd have her own crate though.
Does she hate cats? Have any issues with other dogs? Phobias? Fears?

Looking for permanent home for her. I'm sure she'd love other dogs to play with. She tries to get frisky with our older dog but she just ain't having it usually. She's kennel trained and sleeps in her's at night so that wouldn't be an issue. She's never been around multiple dogs. Just our other one so I'm not sure how'd she handle a group and she's never seen a cat, so I'm not sure about that either. No phobias or fears that I know of.
