Two weeks away...

from going to Los Suenos in Costa Rica for a week. Got ATV riding, fishing, zip lining, and white water rafting lined up as definites. Might try to mix in golf, but I know it's pretty expensive once it's all said and done to rent clubs and all.
Really looking forward to fishing (hopefully get on some sails)....anybody been before? What should I expect this time of year? Been reading some fishing reports but just want to see if any of you guys have been.

Been to los suenos before. It is literally the most magical place in the world. The ultimate man trip. Bring your ole lady along as well for the beauty of the country. Perfect time of year for sails and marlin.

What boat you going on? The ATV jungle ride was probably the coolest thing we did down there asides from fishing. We also had a good time at the beetle bar in Jaco that we cant talk about

That sounds like a trip I'd enjoy. I may start looking it up for a 5 year anniversary.

We went to CR for our honeymoon. Town of Quepos that is about an hour south of Los Suenos. Had a local tell me, "Senior, you never bring your own food to the buffett line!"

I went for a month and didn't even think about doing any of this BS. Surf. Surf on the Pacific coast, surf on the Caribbean coast, stay a night at Arenal in the middle. EOS.
Do something that requires skill...even if you have to develop it there.
ETA: Nevermind I see your destination. We skipped that part of the country. We traveled from Montezuma to Manuel Antonio on a bus and just rode past there and Jaco.

Would also highly recommend staying away from eating at the mariott, we ate a breakfast buffet there one morning and it was $35 a person. Was bad arse, but it can get expensive real quick. Best meals we had were hole in the wall places in Jaco!
