You obviously don't own any property or you would understand everyone elses position.

No one here is advocating stopping anybody else's ability to walk freely through the woods. There are plenty of oppurtunities to do this on PUBLIC LANDS.
Nobody wants some disrespectful screw up on his property without permission.

I think you know this and are just stirring shite....

Their position is very easy to understand, even by all those lower-class dummies that don’t own land.

Mine is a little more nuanced.

There is nuanced and then there is contrarian. You really sound like you are just stirrin shite, like I said.

There were a couple of shite stirring comments on my part. I’m serious when I say we have lost something important.
I’m not blaming the people in this thread, but the truth is they are the only ones likely to do anything about it.
I think it’s good for them to think about such things, so I don’t believe it’s a wasted effort, even if the response is negative.

What everyone is saying , other than you, is a landowner has every right to feel the above when someone is trespassing on his/her property.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with this.

off this thread and lets track these f@#kers down. I hate trespassers. One of the guys at our camp sent a picture to me of someone on our place the other day. It's just dangerous to have someone walking around your property that you don't know with a gun.

My grandfather was murdered by someone trespassing on my grandfathers property.

No sympathy from me. If you want to hunt someone else property all you have to do is ask. Pretty simple.

I swear. I literally said the exact same thing on the previous page.

And point to where I said people should be able to trespass.

Can anyone here with reading comprehension speak up?

Who are you going to have empathy for when these trespassers, in all camo, with no orange, get mistaken for an animal and shot?

The man that got shot, unless he was threatening someone.

The man that did the shooting, unless he did it on purpose because he was pissed someone walked on his land.

That’s called being consistent.

had some guys that came up to the house a couple of Christmas's ago saying they were hunting on some "adjacent land" and had a shot deer run on our property. Asking permission to look for it. Problem was, all the adjacent property were owned by cousins and about 30 seconds of follow up questions ruled out any other option other than (1) they were driving by and shot the deer on my land from the state highway, (2) poached on cousin's land w/o permission and deer ran on my land, or (3) they were poaching on my land.

I held my tongue, walked down there with them, and let them "go find their deer". They found it; nice 7pt...even let them drag it out of the woods near their truck. Took a pic of their tag w/ my phone and told them to FO...and that they could leave my deer by the road for me pick up later. made a nice skull mount in the man cave.

i think everyone in this thread would love for more people to enjoy the outdoors. The difference is, we all think there are other places to legally do that without illegally entering someone elses property.

thats when you lose my sympathy

There is plenty of public land for that. These folks are poaching or did you not notice the gun...?
Hell if you are that concerned for the trespassers
invite them over to your place.
