You didn't own shite, don't worry.

This generation of Toyota full-size trucks is the best they've come out with. The first 2 sucked arse.
I don't like the interior layout, primarily where they located the gearshift. Also, the headroom is a bit on the shallow side.
The truck makes excellent power and being Toyota, wil
have good resale value.

Ford and GM are the class leaders in full-size trucks.
That is fact.

The vette (2003) is in the garage most of the time.

It would be tough for me to buy another GM product.

Im not a brand loyalist, but I have a long memory about a company not paying what they owe.
Nobody ever bailed me out but my Dad and I paid him back.

Ford got cash just like the others, but are the only company that still hasn't paid it back.

I drive a Tacoma and everyone in here can screw themselves. If I didn't put as many miles into a vehicle as I do I would have a bigger truck, but it doesn't make sense to have a full size in my situation. If I ever need to pull anything big it wouldn't take more than one phone call to have a truck I could use. It's been a good truck and has never let me down (knock on wood). I've also put that truck in some spots I've seen other trucks with bigger engines get bogged down and have to be pulled out.

Nope, you're the one who is full of it. Ford was losing its arse from mid 2005 through mid 2009.

You realize taking out a loan when offered is not the same thing as what GM and Chrysler did right?

We basically gave GM and Chrysler to the UAW to keep them solvent while absolutely frickING the US taxpayer and especially stockholders in those companies. That money will never come back. We gave it to the people that supported Obama as an immediate payoff. It was robbery and in a sane world would be considered criminal.

Don't put down on something he owns, or a can of whoop-arse will be opened.

when i bought the new redesigned tundra in 07 i was also looking at f150s, as far as overall performance tundra was the better truck. I liked the power, speed, handling, stopping, and turning ability more. The upgrades ford has made in the last few years are no joke and toyota will have to keep up.

i'll agree that tundra may have the worst looking interior (i like the layout but not the detail), but i also hate the stupid frickin window dip on the ford f150s

I kinda like it. Just because of it making and easy place to rest my hand out the window when they're down. If you don't do that though then I guess it doesn't matter

This is why I bought a Ford in 2009 after only owning GM vehicles my whole life.

That and the fact that if you sat in both a Ford and a GMC in 2009, there was no way you could buy a GM.

I have a 2011 Tundra Platinum and could sell it today for very close to what I paid for it 2yrs ago.

Show me a Ford or any other that you can do that.

you will do stupid crap to establish said cred.
like get the American tax payers to "refinance and bail you out"?

advertising money would have been better spent redesigning that ridiculous dash and console layout.

like giving huge raises and vacations to it's executives putting more burden on taxpayers?

eta: my vehicle may have stupid dash and console layout, and whatever else you said, but when I bought it, I didn't ask you or anyone else to help pay for it,,,,,,,,,, AGAIN..

All of this "bail out hate" should be more directed at the Govt. more than the companies that took the bailouts IMO. All they did was ask for it, the govt is who actually gave them the money, so be pissed at them.

My Ford F150 Platinum 4x4 with the 6.2 V8 will do just that. While having more horsepower, more torque, and not look like a midgets dick. Nice playing with you.

Eta: that Lil Ford also gets better MPG and has a higher towing capacity. Maybe it can tow two shuttles?
