Oh and per the link,
F150 #2
Tundra #7

So you're a prick who's wrong.

You must be a real man talking like that. You are trying to compensate for something, aren't you? You can't even shite talk and be factual.

I call BS.

If you can drive a vehicle for two years and can sell if for only $500 less than you paid for it, you do it. Especially if it was on a new trade (sales tax savings).

If you're telling me that the exact truck you paid 40k for two years later retailed for 50K, I would say you are shopping at overpriced trucks.com.

pretty sure I said ford has made great strides in this thread, even as far as saying I looked at f150s myself in the same model year, one will always one up the other, I see no facts in this thread, post something factual and maybe I'll take heed the stupid brand loyalty in this thread, but most likely not

I had two F150s, both had decent ergonomic features, both had shite paint. Both got ove 160 with no trouble

I have had two Expeditions for my wife, both had shite interiors and wind noises. Powertains ok

I have also had a Tahoe and currentl a Suburban....worst vehicle I have ever owned. Everything on this one is broken.

I have a Tundra Crew Max, handles better, accelerates better and rides quieter than any of em. Gets 16 mpg, has 80k on it at 2.5 years and will love to ge another. Need to backlight the buttons on the door but other than that no complaints.

Good info.
Nobody can say you are a brand loyalist.

MPG on the Toyota, is that avg. or hwy?

I'm getting a true 17-18 hwy with my F250 which I think is phenomamal considering its 7700#.

I think 15.7 is the average

And I can pull the space shuttle!

The Tundra has shite brakes though. But pulls my boat like a dream, much better than my last Ford did

ftr, ive owned z71's, f150's, bronco 2 (pieceofshit) dodge rams, nissan big truck, 3 mazdas, lots of suburbans and 4 yotas in the last 30 something years that ive been married... Including 2 tacomas 4x4's, wife drove an avalon for several years. i drive a tundra double cab 4x4.. The Yotas are the only ones I have never had to take to the shop with any mechanical issues.. Only thing I can think of is the wifes avalon has torn up a couple of cd players.. That's it, seriously.. Tundra gets 18.5 on the road with a little bit over sized tires.. I ain't arguing with anybody just stating fact that I know about.. Maybe there are Yota lemons, I haven't found em yet, knock on wood..

Bronco 2 sucked bad, for sure.

The little Mazada truck I had was bulletproof until it got totaled, with me in it.

I like the 08 EXT I had. Great engine, smooth transmission, awesome headlights. Not good for pulling anything though. Blew two tires on the same side on the Causeway one night. Kept it stable, great driving truck. Replaced all the exterior door handles twice so far, though.

I'm giving Ford another shoot after the 5.4 I had. That motor had issues.

Seriously, I don't care what you think. The sticker price on my truck was 50k I paid 40k. I'm like geauxt in that I've own several cars however this is my first Toyota. I had a suburban and Tahoe prior to buying this. My wife has an MDX and had a G35 before.

I can't find a tundra platinum for the price I paid for mine. Everything else was much closer to 50k because of the supply. Had I been able to find one I would have sold mine in a heartbeat. I also looked at ford and GMC when I bought it but GMC wouldn't budge on the price of theirs at all and a F250 wouldn't fit in my garage, it was too long.

Well, you said try again, so I was.

I figured you were getting the 39.5 offer as a new trade-in.

Really though, once you figure the sales tax savings, you could have put your truck with 5K cash and drove off in a 2 year newer truck, even if you would have paid full sticker on the new truck.
Still a pretty damn good deal.

because of the supply

100% correct here.

That tsunami even affected Ford and GM with certain metallic paint colors and options.
