Hey guys,

I’m looking for a good, durable toy for my lab mix. She loves ropes but someone told me that they’re horrible for her stomach. She loves rope tug of war and doesn’t really like chewing things.

What are y’alls recommendations for toys that will keep her entertained?

A nice new rifle. If she doesn't care for it, maybe you can make use of it somehow.

I wouldn't worry too much about her chewing the rope, no telling what else she chews on when you aint looking.

Search fire hose toys for dogs
Kong also makes stuffed toys, they seem to last a few minutes longer than cheap stuffed toys

Man. . . not much love for dogs here.

Get her a beef knuckle. They last for a LONG time. They'll chew on them for hours. They eat the marrow out of the joint and it'll create a hollow void and you can smear peanut butter in there when it gets hollow enough.

I just got mine some elk antlers and she loves to chew on them.

Although I have never bought anything that she doesn't like to chew on. She is a very aggressive chewer....she loves stuffed animal toys but she destroys them with the quickness. Even the ones I've found that are supposedly "tough" and "almost indestructible" don't make it long with her.

A benne-bone is about the only thing mine won't destroy with the quickness. Ropes and even the firehose stuff is toast in 5 minutes.

I found a shed last year and the damn dog is scared of it. Blows my mind.

I took the ropes away from my from my retriever too. He still likes that extra tough kong toys and my GF got him a "Bene Bone" thats a fake flavored bone. He loves that.

Gave my dog one of those one time and you should have seen the amount of shite that dog has the next day, it was unbelievable, never bought another one since, damn near ruined the house and she was house trained.

resod your backyard. Those green squares are loads of fun for them to play with.
