This pisses me off...... I was fishing opening weekend of dove season. Caught a bunch of 15 7/8" drums and reds that I threw back. Finished a little short of my limit.... if I would have known green Jean's was in the field I could have took those fish hime with me.

For one that doesn't hunt, what is plugged\unplugged shotgun?

In a shotgun there's a plug which limits the amount of shells a shotgun can hold. Some hold 5, some hold 4, with the plug in they can only hold 3.

I mean if you don’t have a license, why worry about your limit amiright? That’s just using Baw sense as far as I’m concerned.

Eta: game wardens don’t like you to joke about that much. I routinely get stopped while fishing and they check our cooler for fish. Saying something like ‘how big can the fish be if I don’t have a license since you didn’t check mine’ has yet to go over well even once.

Question about the rallying dove violation, we were hunting a field on opening day where the land owner was innocently fluffing his cut hay right next to us on a tractor...would this be considered a violation?

Warden snuck up on our duck blind one time and when he yelled game ward as he was opening the door to the blind I asked him to hold my beer while I’ll put my plug back in. He didn’t laugh. But everyone else rolled. He was all business but no tickets issued.
