Any issues cycling shells? (cheap low brass)
What steel shoots best with it?
Is yours a duck gun or all around varmint killer?

Looking to buy one for my son. Hes 14 about be 15 and still shooting his youth 1187. He's outgrown it

Just shot 3-4 boxes of kents number 2s through one a couple weeks ago. Did pretty good for me

Edit: the only problem I had was finding the safety. Took a little while to get used to.

Same here, he shoots it well and often with after market pattern master close choke.

Good deal. Looks like that'll be his early Christmas/birthday present.

Love mine. Have shot a bunch of various shells through it and never had an issue. It's been accidentally submerged in the bottom of a blind last year and never had any issues. I like Kent's myself, but no problems with others.

Shot one for years before I got my SBE3. Best shotgun for the money you can buy. Can't count how many ducks, geese and cranes I've killed with it. Drug it through the swamp, used it as a boat paddle. Think I cleaned it once or twice.

Buy it. Its my primary duck gun right now and have never had a single problem with it. fits well, cycles all shells, easy to clean. I plan on buying other duck guns down the road but that one will always be in my truck.

Some buddies of mine went on a dove hunt in Argentina and all they gave out were beretta autos. Said they're the only thing that can hold up for more than a month of constant blasting. They had tried every shotgun on the market and got the best life from the berettas

My son worked all summer 3 years ago to save for his (He was 13 at the time, 16 now). He loves it. No issues through 3 duck seasons. It's his main duck gun as well as squirrel and other stuff. He also shoots clays with it occasionally. It's been flawless so far with any shells he's put through it.

I have one. Buy it. Rugged. Have used it for doves, ducks and sporting clays. Runs any shells from #9-#4 steel or lead right out of the box with no feed problems.
