I personally think u should lose points for blackjacks and spoonbills.... But thats just me.

If we are going with banded birds, I'm out. I haven't killed a banded bird in 20 years. I hunt marsh in dularge.

In 15 years of serious hunting, I got my first band last year, a woodie, banded 6 months before I shot it, 1 +/- mile from banding site in Bossier. It was almost comical.

Jeff Foiles has, except he was doing it in city parks.
ETA: Have you ever rode in a grain cart with an ice chest full of beer for several hours "rounding them up?"

Ok how about this...
We do teams with a $20 entry fee per person. We do a points system & a banded bird side pot. $10 of your entry is for the points race & the other $10 goes to the banded bird jackpot. Team with the most points @ end of season wins the contest & 1st guy to kill a banded bird gets the jackpot.
How does that sound?
