to me though, you're going to shoot ducks over a spread. I think it should be the same for geese. not hard to go crawl and kill 100 geese with 2 guys. waaay harder to do that over a spread.

Have you all ever sat on a turn row looking at a flock of geese in a field studying them to find a neck band? Then take something like a 22-250 or .204 and end that poor goose life just to get the neck band and leg band.
A neck banded goose always has a leg band. Would this count as two bands or just one?

yeah but it looks like we aren't going to use a points system but rather the total # of banded birds killed by each team.
If we do points, I aree that creeping would be frowned upon.

I know a guy who every morning picks off a speck from his back porch with his .17
I'm in if anyone wants me
i won't bring a high number of chances of a band to a team though

I would think they woud each be considered a band. Whatever you guys think though.

A floating log with chicken scratch placed on top will get mallards up on the log walking around showing off their feet!
Yall might not want to play the "band" game

You can buy fake bands
You can call the band in and they will send you a certificate. I'll be hunting this year more than ever, rotating between Grubbs, Ar, Ruleville, Ms, and several places in LA. Gonna be a bloodbath considering I have 6 weeks off for Christmas break

just now seeing this thread this is a cool idea, I'm in

I'm thinking we should just go by bands and not total number of ducks just to keep it simple.

Who's to say someone's not gonna take their buddy's band or wrongly claim it was their shot? All these guys shooting mallards will have more bands anyway.

I spent 10k fishing tournaments last year, I'll take my chances on putting up $10 for the good ole' boys on the OB.

Come on bourgs. I might shoot a few mallards but I barely kill any spoonbills and they are banded

Ole Man River both sides between Natchez and Vicksburg. One spot in Tensas a few miles inland from the river. A secret little patch of flooded timber South of Monroe close to the Bosco community.

Nice, my buddy has a flooded pecan orchard up around Eagle Lake that we're going to hunt a few times this year
