Monroe area, but I sometimes tend to venture towards the Columbia/Beouf River region, and this year I've got a spot in Jones.

I hunt mostly in the SW and SE areas of the state. As well as Monterey, have never hunted as far north as you but do want take a trip up that way to hunt some public land. May try to make a ARK trip as well. However if you have some flooded timber and need another gun I will be more than happy to provide and dog and lots of beer.

I am not good enough to always identify drake vs hen in flight, but a professional (and true waterfowl conservationist) lets the hens fly. Don't want to complicate things, but I think hens should be -1 point.

Most do it with pintail and mallards. Grey duck would be a bitch as well as wood duck and real.
Plus keeping peeps from cheating might be hard enough as is. I like the conservation thought though.
