Because trade-in values are so incredibly high right now I'm thinking of Trading my '18 Tundra on a new Trail Boss or AT4.
Anyone driving either model with some input? Never owned a GMC and only had one Chevy with mixed returns on it. Loved the way it drove but didn't like how much they rely on electronics.

What say the Outdoor board?
Got to do something quick if I do it. Dang things are more rare than a Solar Eclipse right now.

Wouldn’t the “extra” on trade-in be negated by paying higher prices on new truck?

Join a Tundra group and sell privately. People are looking and paying $$$ for them.

Coworker just brought his AT4 in for a terrible squealing noise. GM interior is almost a lateral move from a tundra.

So you are getting rid of a perfectly functional truck that will last a very long time with minimal maintenance for one you say relies too much on electronics that you'll buy at a premium cost due to nearly no inventory? Sounds like a fine financial decision.

Adding some after market bells and whistles may be a better option. My 2006 tundra has apple car play, android auto, back up camera, xm radio...... added for less than $500

You won't get your bells and whistles with a GM truck.

my 18 f150 has a CD player, I think I read that was the last year they did CD players. atleast with Ford. Not sure about the others. I looked at Tundras and Tacomas a year or two ago and iirc they had some sort of bluetooth car play, so I bet the newer ones don't anymore either.

Dealers are paying big premiums as well. Toyota is about the only ones with stock right now.

The market is so messed up, people are getting checks back on repo's

I'm seeing people selling their 18's for more than they paid by a decent amount and buying 21's in some groups.

Alpine iLX-W650 It was $299 before every name brand headunit became out of stock. Crutchfield doesn't even have much of anything below a $750 except Boss and Jensen units.
