Thinking about getting a new compound bow. Any recommendations?

The last compound I bought was a Bowtech Experience around 2014. It’s a good bow and still shoots fine. I haven’t seen any new bows that seem much faster, but I’ve just got the itch for something new.
I’m a long draw at 31.5” and would probably prefer a 60sh LB max.
Is there anything I should definitely look at?

I was shooting a 2003 bow tech extreme solo. It was blistering fast in 2003 shooting an ibo ~315. It was fairly smooth and quiet and vibration free so I thought.
Looked at getting another bow tech and shot the sr350 and the revolt. Then i shot the elite omnia and that’s what I got. It’s dead in the hand and my groups improved considerably. I have let two buddies shoot it and they both can not believe how smooth it is for what is considered a speed bow with aggressive cams and short brace height.

Looks good, but only accommodates up to a 30” draw. That’s a real problem for me. Flagship bows often max out at 30”.

I bought a PSE carbon levitate this year after shooting the same PSE since 2010 and the difference is crazy. I always said the same thing as you, “there aren’t really any faster bows so why would I buy a new one?” My 2010 bow has an IBO at 345 and my new one is 348, but the new one is lighter since it’s carbon fiber and it’s so much smoother. I recommend going somewhere and shooting a few different bows and seeing what you like. For what it’s worth I love my carbon levitate so maybe try shooting one of those and seeing how you like it.

I just upgraded from my 2009 Mathews Reezen to the Phase 4. It’s amazing how smooth, vibration free and quite the new bow is. Really enjoying it so far. Just got it sighted in last weekend so looking forward to making some hunts with it after Christmas

I would recommend going to a store that carries several brands, and shoot everything that fits your specs. Buy whatever feels best. Elite, Mathews, and Hoyt seem to be the more popular brands, followed closely by Bear and PSE for some budget friendly options.

Even though I only have a 27.5" draw length I just bought the Bowtech SS34. It balances perfect, and with the length actually has a lighter "feel" to me than their CP30 and definitely felt lighter than Mathews V3X. It shot dead in the hand as well. With the Comfort mods it had a really smooth draw cycle. For me it was kind of like the puppy that chooses you, as soon as I picked it up and shot it I knew that was it.

I shoot a bowtech solution SS. It maxes out at 31” DL, so not sure if you would like that. It’s a pleasure to shoot and has gotta be the easiest bow to tune with those deadlock cams.

I have a bowtech sr6 with the 70 Lb limbs. I shot both 60 and 70 lb and limbs in the store and the 70 was just as smooth so i ordered it with those.
I think all the new top bows are close in performance to each other so it may come down to looks, feel, and price.

I’d get an elite remedy. It has the set technology so you can change draw, let off, and cam lean without a press and it shoots great. If you want the brand new ones I’d probably get an omnia but I honestly haven’t shot the omnia. Bowtech also has similar technology I think,

I second Elite and it being user friendly to make adjustments.
I bought an Elite Envision this year and really like the backwall on it and also the grip. The grip is not as wide as a lot of the new bows which I like and you can hold a draw for a long time.
