I can't believe how well it fits the gun. It seems to have a positive effect on the grip, making a smoother transition to the guard.

Glock fanboys are out in full force today.

Great looking gun OP, that's my #2 wishlist pistol.

I see I didn't capture the smooth hammer and lack of decocker on the V2 (LEM) setup. Carp.

I believe what he is trying to convey is that your Springfield XD is a piece of sheet.

And if you seriously think an H&K isn't a good gun, I'd be willing to be that you have never held one in your hand much less shot one.

I don't even think the engineers at Springfield would say that an XD is a better weapon than any H&K.

Nice gun in a hard to find caliber. The Germans also make some nice knives, I grew up around Boker knives. ALso the Springfield XD guns are solid. Have a .40 and it is solid and reliable!

I've bought my BIL the same knife two years in a row for Christmas. He lost it at a camp and really wanted a replacement.

I never said H&K wasn't good, but rather that H&K isn't nearly as good as people think, especially when you take into account price.

Thanks brah. I asked for the James Bond gun for every Christmas growing up; was a huge fan of the movies. I finally got it as a college graduation present. I need to find a good shoulder holster so I can wear it to weddings, funerals, or when I rent a tux. Never shot it and don't plan to.

Is that a chamber indicator on the side of the slide?

My Beretta 96 has the same thing. It's just a red line painted on the extractor. It bulges out a bit when you have a round in there so it acts like a loaded chamber indicator but isn't as dramatic as others, like my SR9c.

Yea, but it barely moves. You can see brass if the pistol has a chambered round. They made it so it doesn't really exist on the P2000, no one that doesn't know the gun would be aware that it's indicating anything.

I think it meets California Code, but it's a very poor indicator if they were really trying to. I doubt they were though. HK probably thinks it's a dumbass way to ensure the pistol is being handled safely when loaded.

I have a cocked indicator and I loved it at first but now I wish it were a bit more subtle.
