The US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit just ruled that there is “no right” to carry a firearm, either openly or concealed, according to the NRA.

BREAKING: The US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit just ruled that THERE IS NO RIGHT TO CARRY – either openly or concealed in public.

This ruling impacts RTC laws in AK, HI, CA, AZ, OR, WA, & MT.

This was not an NRA case but we are exploring all options to rectify this.

— NRA (@NRA) March 24, 2021

While the context of the case is not yet clear – the NRA said it wasn’t its case – the gun rights organization said the ruling affects multiple states, several of which are “constitutional carry” states that don’t require a permit.

They can piss off firearms might end up being a states rights issue before this is over. Such a shame how the courts are pissing on the constitution

the 9th Circuit

Commonly referred to as “the 9th Circus” by Rush. It’s where the Dems always go to get the decision they want.

Better hope SCOTUS reverses this.

Our rights are no longer sacred or defended by the judicial system.

Not very shocking coming out of the most liberal court in the country.

this right here... citizens, elected officials and judges to a very large degree at best view the constitution as a malleable document rather than sacrosanct. Far too often it is viewed as an archaic document that is irrelevant in the world we find ourselves..

The most disturbing part of all of this is that the 9th was largely overhauled with Trump appointed judges.

It's not nearly as leftist as it used to be.

All of this is making a nice long vacation to the Czech Republic more and more of a reality.

The opinion was written I believe by a former constitutional law professor at LSU and a Bush appointee.
