I’ll say that I think Hobie is a damn fine boat. But I am much more comfortable with the bicycle style pedal drive over the mirage drive. And I was just more comfortable overall with the Native layout. Different strokes.
ETA: I don’t even have a pedal drive, so this is all based on demo’s and a little bit of time in some of my friends yaks.

That’s total crap
Don’t crawfish on me now you know damn good and well every time something Native dropped you’re blasting it all over the board
And Inferior tech sure to seem like you’ve said this a couple of time
“I wish it had this, I hope it has that, instant reverse maybe next yr”
blah blah blah
Just embrace your Native “fanboi”
I’m sure eventually they’ll get it right....

So when are they supposed to show the whole thing?

Native knows they can film a video with the lights on, right?

The plans were to release this at the upcoming Paddlesports Retailer show, and I’m sure their marketing trying to build some hype around it leading to the release. Not sure if we will see the whole thing before then or not. We have been talking about it for 2 days in a row so it’s working apparently LOL

Btw, at the LA1 tournament we had over 50 participants. Almost all were Hobies.
Hobie definitely has the stronghold on our market on the Gulf Coast, it’s not like that in all states though. I bet 50% of people who own Hobies in our area haven’t even demo’d another pedal drive option. When you have 6-8 Hobie fishing team members with every dealer and nothing but Hobie people at every demo day, Hobie sponsoring events down here, etc. it’s hard for people to see past that and realize there’s other quality kayak options on the market.

Good point, but unless another kayak has Dual Steering and Horizontal Rod holders I'm not interested. And a large tank well and front hatch.

It's very much a regional thing, Hobie may dominate here but I was talking to John at Pack & Paddle last night and he was saying how other retailers in other parts of the country can't sell an Outback but sell several Jackson FDs or Native Propels.

Team NoPedals checking in with a quick limit of reds. It's hot as frick now too.

Don’t get me wrong...the engineering on that new 360 impresses me. But it’ll be interesting to see how many people are willing to fork out $5,000+ for it. Kinda pisses me off that they raised the price ceiling that much, if they are able sell them for that then you know every other manufacturer is going to start pumping out $5,000 kayaks.

I want it, but that's too much. Ridiculous actually.

It crosses my "screw that, I'll buy a boat" threshold by about $2500

Dont care enough to comment on the lefty v alx, hobie v native catfight we've got going on, but you should all switch to Old Town. They're the best.

If they had dual steering and a bigger tank well I'd consider it. Definitely like their price point. Also, if my Mirage drive broke Pack & Paddle can fix it right away. Where would you take the PDL for service?

In my case.... OKC Kayak. Lol.
But your point remains. P&P is a licensed distributor for Old Town though and I imagine they'd help you out.
And if your PDL drive never breaks, why is it a problem??
