No they really dont. A clip is a faster way of loading bullets into a magazine, and magazine is what holds the bullets waiting to be fired.

No they don't. A clip doesn't feed any rounds into the guns chamber. It loads a magazine. A magazine feeds rounds into the chamber.

I remember seeing some sac-a-lait at a school one time. I couldn't wrap my head around how it was possible. I just kept asking, why dont you have cartons like everybody else?

really dude? Are you that dense that you cant understand what has been spelled out for you on two pages? Think of clips like a speed loader, and a magazine like a box that you are loading them into. If you have a gun and a clip of bullets and not magazine you have an inoperable weapon.

This is correct...but with one tweak "A stripper clip doesn't feed any rounds into the guns chamber. It loads a magazine. A magazine feeds rounds into the chamber".

The term "clip" is mistakenly used in place of "magazine" because of the m1 garand which was fed directly from top-loaded clips that self-ejected when empty.
What these guys are referring to as clips are stripper clips which are used to speed load magazines.

WAIT don't educate them. Maybe they will pass legislation banning clips over 10 rnds and leave the magazines alone
