Local gun shop has sold out of AR's, and says on certain models there is a backlog until April. I guess it's good for business.

No it's not. The clip feeds the magazine. Magazine feeds the gun. Something like that. All semis have a magazine. Not all semis have clips. Something like that

i get it but if you think that IF Congress outlaws clips this will mean magazines. I take it as they use this word enterchangibly

You're taking this way to serious Francis. We know that the terms are not interchangable, congress does not (most likely). Therefore, any ban on high capacity "clips" will most certainly be about magazines and not clips.

What I find interesting about the fear of a ban is now you have hundred (thousands) of people that either have never owned guns or are new to them buy every possible gun/AR type possible. Now we have a thousands of people who have no idea how to operate, safely handle, or utlize high powered guns with them.

Just left bowie ourfitters... two box per ammo max per person. two mags per person. And ammo is 20 round boxes.

All I'm saying is people that use the term are either ignorant and need to be educated on the matter, or lazy and need to be corrected. They are two different things that serve two different purposes.
