Damn son!
Looks like I left Texas a night too early!
Congrats on an awesome animal.
And the meal looks amazing.

Just made a round trip to Durango Co., all we saw was mulies and some prong horned between Amarillo and New Mexico. Nice mount.

Holy cow, man! You are a lucky guy to have drawn that tag!
Congrats!

You lucky SOB! Congrats!

I always put in for the Arizona raffle.

I think TX has something similar but I don't think it includes the Ram hunts.

Texas has two lottery opportunities. The first is the Texas Public Land Drawn hunt system. This is the tag I drew. Just like other states, you apply every year and accrue bonus points.

We also have the Big Time Texas Hunts Grand Slam. This is a true lottery where no points are involved but you can purchase as many entries as you like. The winner of this hunt gets four separate hunts, desert bighorn, mule deer, pronghorn and whitetail. All lodging, meals, guiding and taxidermy is included.

Hard to really happy for folks you don't know. Happy for you though.

What an animal and an accomplishment. Simply awesome.
