As I'm stuck at work in south Texas until at least the middle of next week I'll be living vicariously through my OB brethren. Good luck and stay safe fellas

Not looking good in our area. My dad ran around the normal spots by the camp in pass a loutre WMA today and did not see a single teal. He had seen 40 to 50 last week, but they gone. Sounds like we'll be fishing...

Guess we don't have the fly over results either. Larry said we would have them today weather permitting. This is the first time in 2 months we haven't had rain in 2 weeks. Guess it was too dry to fly????

In route to Kaplan now. Not optimistic, but it's hunting and not work. Good luck and be safe.

That front that came down a week and a half ago pushed the teal already here further down south. We were seeing tons of birds a couple weeks ago. Still seeing some but not nearly as many. I still think we'll do ok this weekend though. Good luck fellas.

If the face painters in Wham Brake hit one teal for every 100 rounds of ammo they shot this morning I'm predicting 14,000 teal lost their lives. It was constant roar of thunder that lasted from daylight till about 20 minutes ago. It was crazy.

Pops and 2 other guys this morning in Pass A Loutre WMA didn't fire a shot. Had a couple groups fly by. Lillys moved across the pond about an hour into the hunt and started engulfing the decoys so had to pick up. Said he heard maybe 12-15 shots in their area during that first hour.

I'm hunting early next week in TX...haven't heard any reports, but my worry is too much water so the birds will be spread thin.
