Ok. Look at the price.

I can get way more for a ram than any other brand. Chevy ain’t really an option. I’m a ford guy but shite be expensive and torn on motor options. GMC 3.0 diesel tempting. Toyota is hit and miss for me.

I've got a 20 Laramie. It's been a great truck and problem free for 60k.

Can't say problem free, my check engine light is on because a squirrel chewed through the solenoid wire which turns on the eco mode 4 cylinder junk.

Engine light stays on, truck runs like a normal V8 24/7. The squirrel probably did me a favor. Might not ever fix it.

My boss and I both bought rams for work. We average about 4,500 miles/mo and at around 110,000 they both had issues with the manifold and fuel injectors. Then at 125,000mi my heater core went out. The same exact thing happened with one of my customers ram at 140,000.

I hated getting rid of that truck bc it was such a great ride but it was costing me a fortune in repairs. If I didn’t have to put so many miles on them, I’d get another but it’s just not an option for me anymore.

I’m interested in the Ram RHO. Wondering if the Hurricane engine has been reliable so far and if I’d be better off with a Raptor

RAM historically has a reputation of crap interiors, but I have a 21 RAM Laramie 2500 with the cummins with 93000 miles and the interior still looks brand new when I clean it up. I use it as a work truck probably 30% of the time. Didn't buy it originally as a work truck, but that's what it has turned into some of the time. I have the large screen and the interior is everything I wanted.

I don't know crap about the current RAM 1500 gas engines, but the interiors are the same between the vehicles and you won't be disappointed.

Dodge needs to partner with Allison for transmissions. It'd be a great diesel if they ever did that.

Just my opinion, but comparing 5th gen Rams to 4th or earlier is like comparing two totally different brands.

My heater core just went out last week at 89,000 miles. Luckily it was covered under my warranty.

I've had 3 Raptors and just bought a RHO back in March. So far so good and the RHO is faster and nicer interior than the Raptor for $10k less

I'm passively shopping between an F150 and a Ram and honestly this thread did a massive disservice to the Ram's chances.

Just got a 2025 Tundra Limited for $7K off MRSP, had them level and put nitto grapplers. I leased because I don't put any miles on vehicles. They added 20 to the payment and no change in residual value at the end of the term, so cost around $700.

Toyota is dealing, dealership I bought has lifetime powertrain and oil changes forever to the original purchaser.

Love the ride. I know they have had issues with their engines, but it's warrantied forever...

I’ve had the 5.7 Hemi and the 6.4 Hemi.
Both in Laramie trim. The only way I could talk you out of the 1500 is to tell you to get the 2500.
