Anybody watching this series on the History Channel?
This dude Troy is my new hero. He loaded up two boats full of huge alligators in one day somewhere near Bayou Sorrel, i think.
If you haven't seen the show you need to find it on your cable.

It looked like the basin, but I'm not sure where he was hunting. I thought they said Bayou Sorrel, but it may have been one of the other trappers working that area.
They did show Troy in Lake Verrett at some point in the show, hunting Big Head.

That show is awesome and I like Troy's group the best. That fat dad and kid are the worst. The kid falls into the water then he can get the boat started.

You definitely wouldn't see my arse out there hunting gator alone.
I didn't really like Trapper Joe and his stepson initially...but they've grown on me. They're the guys that fish in the Myrtle Grove area.

I've hunted them myself. It's not fun especially if you get a big one.
And I agree about Trapper Joe & Tommy. They looked pretty bad on the first episode but they got better. I laughed my arse off when Tommy called that gator a Nemesis.

I just checks the historychannel.com, new episodes every Sunday. They have aired four so far. Looks likw I missed last Sunday's show.
I wonder how many shows they taped?

Yes it was this past Sunday where the fat kid was having trouble. I like trapper joe and his stepson too, but Troy is the best.

I'm fairly certain that the taping is complete. A buddy of mine was one of the camera boats in Myrtle Grove. They finished two weeks ago.
