Check out Allen's Welding on FB if you in North Louisiana or Chad Bourgeois in Raceland if you in South LA.

Both make affordable quality fire pits.

I would highly recommend Ohio Flame ( LINK). Lifetime warranty. Very heavy construction.

I need one of those. Is there a process, or do you have a connection?

I talked to the man at the rodeo sale but got a little better price from a connection. The prisoners have to pay a 25% tax on anything sold at the rodeo so they charge more to cover it. I was able to buy it a few weeks after the rodeo so he dropped the price from $350 to $250. Any one of the metal workers could build it but make sure you look at their other work on display. Some welders are clearly better than others.

+1 on a fire pit from Buckees. Had an old pipe cap put and not enlighten heat went out by us it all went up away from us. Got the Buckees with a cooking grate and we use the hell out of it.

We picked up one of these as well. Very well built and I’m very pleased with it. We use the cooking grate also.

Anyone know where you can get a tank cap around NOLA/Northshore?

Yea it can go direct on concrete. They make a ring that fits under it for better air flow.

I use mine on my covered back porch. Has 12’ ceilings with fans on down rods and string lights. I don’t run it full tilt under it but a solid rolling fire. Makes the fans spin but no issues yet. I used a infrared thermometer to keep taps on the temps.

I don’t know the measurements off hand but they have them on the solo stove site.

Bought the Yukon a couple weeks ago. Should be cold enough this coming weekend to give it its maiden voyage. Looking forward to it.
