Stay at Home Order, anyone dealing with these? Fishing?

Here in East Texas our local government just issued a mandatory "Stay at Home" order till April 12. It will be enforced and violations will be punished by up to 180 days in jail or a $1000 fine. Neither fishing, nor travel to a fishing location fall under the definition of essential activity or travel. And no businesses on a lake are considered essential as far as I can tell. So a marina operating a private ramp and taking a fee for that would be closed. And any city/county ramp would also be closed?? Anybody else dealing with a similar situation?

What does the order say about recreation? Most stay at home orders address this (in FL especially in the county I live in addresses this).
This just absurd
How? Are they going to pull everyone over that's driving; better deputized a shitload of people. And if they pull over any non-white person, lawsuits will follow.

I went fishing yesterday afternoon. Had a pretty good trip and ended up with a nice bag.
Also everyone else was also fishing yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many boats while fishing.

And this is why we’ll be fighting the virus for months. We are going to force govt to take draconian measures to stop it.
But y’all lemme know if you’re catching. About to have boat ready.

Ohio cousin and Tulsa brother are fighting the Corona wars from the fishing camp.
Since my project is near there, I will draw my per diem while staying with them.
We are all sacrificing.

Have a link to that? Just sounds ridiculous and like something they couldn’t enforce.
Especially since almost every department in the country is doing all they can to avoid face to face contact with people. The last thing you want is your entire police department in 14 day quarantine.
Also, just from the limited exposure I’ve had in some meetings, they encourage people to go fishing , hunting, hiking, etc. as long as they are smart about it

That’s crazy to have an ordinance like that in place or to expect anyone to enforce it

A majority of people that fish do it by themselves.

I'm going often and no cop has pulled me over to ask what I'm doing. I have a camp on the lake, technically I'm at home

Went this morning. Going again tomorrrow. Lots of other boats and kayaks out there fishing too
Hopefully people in LA are smart about it and go fish with a 2-4 people on a boat and don't we don't end up with bigger groups of youngsters partying on pontoon boats and give the government here a reason to shut down launches like Florida.
