Launched at Campo's this morning and made a run to the Christmas Camp Lake area. I was only able to keep 11specks that were all fourteen or better, but I was catching what would have been on keepers last year on virtually every cast. We are going to have a great late October and November! All fish caught on Market 54 glide shrimp about 2.5 feet under a cork.

You were using the glide under the cork and not the jerk?

I took my son to Dularge last week to fish with a guide we’d been with many times. It was sporadic early but once we found them it was every cast . We probably caught 80 with lots of smaller specks and plenty white trout mixed in . All caught on plastics.

Where did y'all fish? Lake Mechant? Sister Lake? Or further South?

Yeah, I caught about a million last weekend. I ended up cutting most of them out of my latest video because it would've been over an hour long and maybe only one or two were keepers.

But give it a week or two, all of them will be keepers and I'll be there to scoop em up.

It was windy as hell still over here today, but tomorrow looks good. May give it a shot.

Gonna mess around Lake Borgne and see if I run accross a 3Tail before they push out and some flat fish before they shut it down for Oct./Nov.

Went about a month ago. Caught a bunch of small specks. 2 keeper reds. Saw one trip and caught it even though it was too small. Buddy had never seen or caught one.

Caught a few good ones in MS before my boat was out of commission for a few months this summer. My 10yr old put a 20" in the boat this week on one of our first trips back out with it. We missed the best of it this year, but think we've still got at least one more cold front before they vanish.

We easily caught over 100 last week but only kept around 10. Most around 11 inches. It was pretty much every spot we most casts they’d hit it as soon as it hit the water

We had some live shrimp but it didn’t matter what we used they were hitting plastic just as hard
