!!!!Update page 3!!!!!

Some sorry piece of shite stole Dylan’s boat last night out of our yard. He has busted his arse and money getting it fixed up. Whatever crack head did it knew what they were doing to avoid the cameras. Please let me know if you see it anywhere. Stolen from the Mathews Gheens area.

Update.

Three guys have been arrested for the theft. Two remain in jail and the third is out on bond but has an ankle monitor on. If the others bond out they will also be wearing new jewelry until their court date. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office has been unbelievable throughout the investigation.

I can not begin to say how grateful we are to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office and the anonymous tipsters that help us recover Dylan’s boat and motor today. It is cut up and stripped but it is home. We will begin the job of getting back up and running soon. Thank you to everyone that shared and took the time looking for us also.

Just to let some of y’all know, yes we will be spending more money on his boat to get it back up and running. So it will be even more expensive than it looked before.

then its one of your neighbors who did it, most likely it was stolen by one of their friends or relatives and its now at their house to start disguising it

The suspects (theres at least two), are white, 18-28 years old, skinny with cheesy facial hair, bad teeth, multiple tats including some about the neck and face, driving a 15 yo+ American made half ton pickup in poor condition with a Monster sticker in the back glass and a crossbow on the floor board.

You have no way of knowing that. The crossbow could be on the back seat.

My grandfather passed down to me, in the 90's, his 1436 ouchita that I still have to this day, I've put maybe $2000 in it over the years. If that were stolen from me, I'd be in man-hunt mode to kill a motherfricker.

I'm sorry this happened to your son.

I already did this on his behalf.

I hope it is found and the criminals accidentally die on the way to jail.

Don’t lose hope, sold a 40 sea pro to a guy down the bayou and it was stolen a month or two after he put on his sons boat. Methheads painted it and we didn’t do a bill of sale so sheriffs dept wouldn’t do shite. I got him the original serial #’s and bill of sale and he got it back.

Taxman’s is either the biggest dumbass or a very good troll.

My guess is dumbass, as he’s never once posted anything remotely intelligent. And that’s why I’m curious if he’s a troll. I’d hope no one is that damned stupid.

I vaguely remember registering our boat and it requiring the hull serial (LA/MS) - that said I’d notify multiple states as it stolen so when they go to either retitle/register it gets flagged.

People are a’holes man. Plus it’s a gift from your grandpa. How can you tell there is a crossbow on the floorboard from the video? You described them so I’m assuming you have some video of them. May want to post the video to get perspective.

Jesus man what mfer pos. That’s 1000 times worse than the mfers that stole my fishing rods etc., which were from my grandfather. To make it worse A well known pro fisherman from TV gave me personally dozens of brand new Strike King bass baits, many that aren’t even on the market yet.

I was ducking devastated. Fishing was my thing and we lived on a lake and I lived to fish everyday. None of it was ever found.

We need to get Dylan’s boat back.

1)They will sell it or use it in Mississippi or Louisiana. You need to make sure they can never register it with any state. I would include Texas and Alabama too. I found some stolen boats and motorcycles when I was young as I lived in the woods. They hid them and I used them I guess.

Hopefully there is someone on here, ( come on green jeans help this kid out) than can help keep the boat from ever being registered, and hopefully someone can find it.

2) Someone knows who stole this boat. These mfers sound like river rats or tweekers. River rats will be known to Wildlife agents etc but tweekers will be known to law enforcement. We have some of those on here too but use whatever local contact to the authorities you can.

3) Burn mfers burn or turn up the heat.

See if you can get it as a story on the news. Local good kid spends all his time on reconstruction of a boat only to be stolen by local pos. Story at 5. Make sure you get CCA and the clubs and guides involved. We all hate this shite like the plague. Flyers At every launch and use computer to camo it etc.

4) Go door to door to everyone in your neighborhood, have your son personally hand out flyers at launches Academy etc. (that will get you the TV stations etc) someone stole our dog once and we got 300 flyers out across the neighborhood and he suddenly appeared the next day.

I seriously hope and pray that you guys make it so hot for them they have to park it at launch or something and leave it.

5) Offer a reward if found or returned. Sucks to do it but …

So sorry to hear about this. Will be on the lookout. The fact that someone hasn’t made gps trackers for boats is nuts. Maybe a TD millionaire idea.

Here is Mississippis number. If they ask you why you are reporting it to them you can say some guys in Mississippi thought it might have sold there. (Me I am saying that)

What do I do if my boat was stolen, lost, or abandoned? If a numbered boat is stolen, lost, or abandoned, the owner should first report it to the local authorities having jurisdiction. Then it should be reported to Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks by contacting 601-432-2400.
