I’ve wondered this, too. I wouldn’t think they’d all be going to sherburne, is all the water accessible from whiskey bay public?

Didn’t think basin crawfish were on this early?

That’s all crawfish guys. See them every morning in Ramah and at the Whiskey Bay launch. Don’t know where that all go, but there’s a pile of them that head out.

I've fished there occasionally but the bulk of the boats when it looks like that are crawfishermen. Lots of these.

They go in the swamp and the majority are crawfishing. You wont find their traps fishing bass and bream. You have to get in the swamp pretty deep.some canals will have access ditches where some set traps but the majority are deep in there.

No shite? I bet they sell out quick at that price. I’ve seen people advertising $120-$130 for a sack.

The "medium" sacks were 110 bucks. These were "medium/small" but not bad size at all

A few of those vehicles may belong to people who own hunting camps in the Basin. Not uncommon for people to get away on weekends / holidays and enjoy the peacefulness of the swamp life

My brother in law might have gotten a deal, I'll ask him. 3.29 sounds about right for the select

I was on my way and called. Only had one sack and wouldn't hold it.

Saw a dude's boated headed to that launch and pulled off and got a sack. 100 bones.
