This just bit my buddy twice on his bare foot.

This reminds me of the old Ron White bit from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

He related that a friend was bitten by a snake, saying------

" I wasn't a bright child. I had a weak vocabulary. In fact, if I'd known the difference between antidote and anecdote my friend Bobby Schneider would still be alive today.

He got bit by a copperhead, I'm reading him funny stories out of Reader's Digest. His heads starting to swell and I'm like "It ain't working" and he yells "Read Faster".

A friend of mine was bitten by a copperhead. They gave him antibiotics and some pain meds, watched him overnight, and then sent him home. No antivenom.

Glad he is doing better!

That’s going to be a hefty bill!

Hopefully he has good insurance. I’ve seen a couple bills that were over $1 mil reduced to just a few thousand out of pocket.

Wondering why people would downvote this…

Should I have said, “Hopefully he has crappy insurance and has to pay hundreds of thousands out of pocket?”

Yeah, a crappy thing to down vote, but any health insurance is going to have a maximum out of pocket expenses, to keep from owing hundreds of thousands, but even a 25K out of network out of pocket max hurts, combined with loss of work

I am insurance poor and hope to never be glad of it
