Which would you rather have?

Is the MPX-K more sought after?

Get the Brownells BRN180S Way better platform if you want to go compact.

I think they aren't really comparable. One is a 9mm and the other is a rifle cartridge. The MCX would be a better comparison.

This.

I own a couple DDs and I’d still rather an MCX pistol. I’d try to get a couple barrels for it and call it a day.

I have the DDM4 PDW. I love it. Running a cherry bomb brake with Omega adapter. It’s a great backpack or truck gun. I have a Leupold vxr 1.5-4 on it and with 200 grn subs. I can hit steel out to 200 yds with ease.

So I might have to cross out the 300 blackout due to high ammo and limited availability.

Any thoughts on short bbl 556?
PSA has the 10.5" bbl 556 for $800. Sold out fast.
PSA

From my research, 5.56 isnt a good round for suppressors. I think it'll still shoot better than a 9mm.

Is it as good as 300blk subs? No. Is it movie quiet. Again no. But it’s hearing safe. 556 suppresses fine.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive 556 pistol look locally for a Sig tread. Great value for the $$.

When is the last time you looked for 5.56 Ammo?
If you think .300 blk out is limited then wait till you look for 5.56

It’s definitely more enjoyable to shoot suppressed vs not suppressed, but what isnt? Look into the Turbo K, hard to beat for 5.56 suppression in a small package at a great price. Would pair great with a short barrel. I’d recommend an adjustable gas block or carrier though, 5.56 will gas the hell outta you suppressed (at least mine did).

I had seen the Sig M400 Tread 11.5 at Primary. Primary Arms $800 or maybe avail on PSA.

TFB TV
keeps mentioning form 1. i thought i could add sn SB tactical brace and would not need a form 1?

The Q cherry bomb and Q Omega adapter takes a few oz’s of weight off the end of the gun. Plus you’re less likely to have carbon lockup issues. I love the setup on my DD PDW. I had the VXR laying around. It’s not ideal for a small setup but going to be using force truck gun. The fire dot reticle is perfect for subsonic ammo.
