Shotgun shells… duck hunting

All of the usual online places are sold out of the ones I want. Where is everyone getting theirs for the upcoming season?

You’re shopping about 6 months to late baw. I would search www.gunbot.net and buy ASAP , don’t be picky … ducks don’t care if you’re shooting Winchester, Remington, or Estate shells

Academy in shreveport was about wiped out earlier today when I was browsing. They had a lot of 20 gauge from a brand I wasn't familiar with and like 2 boxes of Kent's in 2 3/4. That is unless they were behind the counter now or something which could be the case as I think most of their pistol and rifle ammo is now behind the counter.

I would try Simmons, Rogers and Mack’s. Within the last month my dad and I probably bought 6-7 cases just from Simmons and Rogers. (Not the high dollar stuff either)
They are getting shells in just got to check every day. Within an hour Rogers sold 39 cases.

I'm seeing good availability of Winchester universal at
Academy in BR. You can even buy 10 boxes at $0.25 a round.
Some walmarts are stocking Federal universal loads and have lifted their limits but don't ever have that much it seems. Priced at $0.26 a round as of yesterday.
Not sure how picky you are with your loads but I would think the Universal ones would work fine for Duck with the right choke.

Even the “boutique” guys like Boss are sold out of most items. My son was able to get some 20 ga #4’s yesterday, but no 12 ga at all.

Where are you located where u hunt at? I have prolly 2 cases of assorted duck and goose loads. I’ll let you have 2 shells for each shell you let me shoot!!

Got a few boxes of Boss 20 gauge shells online yesterday, No. 5's. Hoping to shoot those in teal season and conserve the 12g shells I have on hand for regular season.
