I'll start the thread off with this:

The new KelTec PR57...

I guess this gets around the maximum 10 rd magazine requirement that some states have since it'll hold 20+1.

I always have a handful of buddies who go to Shot Show and SCI and such and I have never understood why they hold these events DURING hunting season. I get that Shot Show is as much of an industry and Law Enforcement event as it is sportsmen, but the overlap has to be considerable. I suppose both events stay packed, so they're obviously on to something, but would it kill them to hold them in Mid-Feb?

I think hunting season out west is well over by now and those people all have cabin fever and love an excuse to go somewhere warm for a few days.

Just my WAG.

Other than that, I dont really see a need or use for this. 5.7 pistols are cool, but man those ammo prices need to come down.

American Rifleman tv show had a segment on that gun last night. 20 round internal magazine that is loaded by stripper clips. The gun is being manufactured in Wyoming.

I agree, but retailers need to get orders in for the year. It’s as if they don’t respect the Southern hunter.

There isn’t a .22 round that can come close to 5.7 ballistics or penetration. Not a huge fan of the 5.7 but this is just a silly take.

It's not a hot 22 wmr load either. Multiple factory 22 mag rounds exceed 300 lbs at the barrel, not a single factory 5.7 ammo does that.
