I thought about it on my 1/2 ton since I am generally overloaded pulling a 5er, but it just doesn't appear to need it. I've always shopped for them by pin weight more than any other spec.

They're badass. Definitely improves the ride. I can now haul up to 4 women from ZZ's top spot without hitting the overload springs.

Mine sucks but I put a lift and some 35's on it right off the bat. Im at 14 in town and the interstate varied alot with speeds. I was close to 20 at 60 but as low as 15 at 80.
About the same here, maybe even a hair less. Before the lift/35's I had slowed down and would only run about 68-70 on the interstate and would get 18-20mpg. Since the lift/35's I seem to get 14-15 regardless of if I'm doing 65 or 75 so 75 it is.

That's pretty amazing for a new diesel.
What rear end do you have?

3.73. Now I get shite mileage regardless of how fast/slow I go, it just looks better doing it now.

I have 3.73's in my 2007.I checked it Saturday and getting 14.2 running around the house.Last time I pulled the TT it was right at 10.5.

Sorry Alextiger, I have a personal issue with both Ford and Remington, and overreacted.
Friends son was injured when flipping an older 700 to safety, and I had a tire separation event at 70 mph on 1-10 with an Explorer and the recalled Firestone Wilderness A-T tires that nearly killed Me, my wife and my six month old son. I am the only person known to have not had a rollover at the speed in a tire separation event and we were only a 1/8 mile from the Bay St Louis bridge where it would have clearly been catastrophic. I heard the same shite from Ford and Firestone then, driver error, must have been damaged tires, under inflated, etc. When I inquired about it online, I got post like you made which we found out latter were people Ford paid to do that. As a result the public was not informed and a lot of people died before the recall.
Remington said they same shite, then wrote a check in exchange for them to keep quiet. I assume you don't work for Remington but that email is just like the Ford people did to me. I got rid of all my older 700's after my friends event, which was witnessed by half a dozen experienced outdoors-man as it was at the lodge. I know not everyone can afford to do that. Obviously, that is a rare occurrence, but it happens and there is nothing worse than the death of a child. Hence, extra caution should be used with these rifles, and people should not buy them or let them be used by novices, or people under 18 in my opinion. There are too many other viable options.
But I still should not have posted that, so you have my apologies.

BTW, the 6.4L diesels are absolute crap, stay away from them. I have a family member who has one that has been pretty lucky with his but he is very meticulous about keeping them serviced to the tee.
