Dam, so sorry to hear. He was a valuable member to this board for many he never met. Can only imagine his impact on those he knew. Glad he is no longer in pain, but hate he is gone. Prayers for your family

Rip, sorry for your loss. I enjoyed all of his posts and he seemed like a really great dude. I built a pirogue in the spring and it was in part based on his thread that he posted.

Rest easy knowing your dad lived a full life despite his setbacks. He was an inspiration to many with his talents and craftsmanship. I followed his cabin build on the forestry forum and it was amazing to watch the progress.
My wife and I will pray for your family.

Prayers sent up for y’all. He lived a full life, full of love for his family. Thank God for your father and the times you had together. Some people don’t have such precious memories of their Dad.

The most any of us can ask is to have a family that loves us. I am so sad for you guys. Prayers offered for peace and comfort and praise for all the great memories to share.

Thank you very much for sharing not only the news but your dad with us. Was a very good man and he will be missed here. Be thankful, we don’t all get dads like that.

Sorry for your loss. I don’t visit the OB like I used to but I remember your dad being one of the posters I always respected.
