mine hasn't.

It will if you keep using it. It probably will even with no use. Everyone I know that has these Rtic soft coolers has had lid failure. My 30 and 40 both did and it was right around a year for both.

To answer OP, check out the ice mule. Great for the beach

Has anyone had any success with repair/replacement for the Rtic?

have the rtic 20, I use it almost every weekend.
Bought over 3 yrs ago, no problems so far.
If it broke today I would order another.

Arctic Zone Titan RF is best bang for the buck. The zipper is seals completely and since it's a straight line zipper, no need for that silly lube that other companies make you use. here it is on amazon but you can find new ones on ebay for under $100

I have an RTIC and have been happy with it. It started coming apart at the 2 year mark but I used some gorilla glue before things got to far and it's been fine. When this one craps out I plan on getting a polar bear cooler. My brother has one and it's really well made. LINK

The Titan and the Polar Bear look like good designs to me.

The rectangle design of the RTIC just isn't conducive to a zipper in my opinion. (and yes I have one). I've only had it a month, but will be really surprised if it doesn't rip apart just because of the design.

You have to pull FIVE directions to open the damn thing, and then FIVE back to close it. I'm damn near through with my beer before I gotta do the 10 step program again to get my next one.

KNOW THIS: The liners of soft coolers don't like bottle tops. I had a great little Coleman cooler that was the GOAT until I started loading it with Envies and Ghosts. Instant leaks.
