14 subjects cited for turkey hunting violations during opening weekend

I know one of the dumbasses on that list. He worked as a contractor in the plant. Doesn't surprise me at all seeing his name on the list.

What's the rule on "baited area" ... I'm prob reading this wrong but if I'm setup over 200yds from my deer feeders and feeding areas I'm good right? Need some clarification on that.

I guess those idiots think food plots aren't part of "management", either, because turkeys will sure congregate in them.

Don't even mention freshly burned areas to these fellas...

I’m not sure how they define “baited area” but even passing within 200 yards of the area can get you a ticket. It’s best to make sure you don’t have any bait at all on the property.
