I just think the xtratuf boots are perfect for what I need them for:

Fishing along the banks of bayous
Lite grass cutting
On a flatboat
In a shell/wet parking lot for boiling crawfish, etc and you don’t want to wear sandals or get decent shoes dirty
Various household shite

Ah, well I don't have that issue. I often have to get wet at first, then not again.

Keen Clearwaters have taken me across some nasty oyster beds when wading for snook. Fit well. Dry quick and have weathered well for a 3 year old pair of water shoes.

Just looked on Amazon and they had the under armour ones for $30 bucks in 12.5. 1/2 size up for me but for that price I had to try em.

xtratuf ankle boots

Got a pair as a Christmas gift and damn they are comfortable. I've only worn them fishing a few times, but I find myself slipping them on when heading out in the yard, etc. They make a great camp boot too, for slipping on/off at the door a lot.

That’s crazy. They honestly don’t look any more comfortable than regular ol chalmette shrimp boots

I’m ordering a pair

Hangover,
I love mine. They are much more comfortable than reg ole fishing boots. Like others have said, you will find yourself using them all the time around the house. Once these crap out, I’ll definitely invest in another pair.

Bought XtraTuff for my Alaskan trip last summer and love them. All the guides and deckhands up there had them on. Ordered Soft Science when they first came out and they run close to a size too small

I appreciate the input..

Can’t seem to settle on a color.. not really crazy about the solid colors, and I think the camo designs are a little too busy

Which color do you guys have?

I have a pair of the 12' Legacy 2.0 boots that I wore all fall, winter, and early spring. I first learned of them on a trip to Alaska... thats all anyone near the coast wears.. Alaska Reeboks. Im either going to buy a pair of ankle boots or a pair of the waterproof slip on deck shoes for the summer. They are great.

Tucket Footware makes a damn good show that’s nearly as indestructible as a Croc and a lot better looking and more comfortable.

$5 thong flip flops. Creates nice, clean sunburn lines.

But RIP if you attempt to walk up a slope like a ramp with anything halfway heavy. Especially if they're at all wet. Lawd have mercy. Easy fix for that - get your buddy to carry it.

Someone here recommended Teva’s many years ago. Been wearing them ever since.
I think I buy the Dozier 3. Good grips and they last a long time. If you ever get them wet for a prolonged period of time, like many leather shoes they may stink.
Put them in a big ziplock bag and in the freezer overnight and the smell is gone.
I wear them everywhere and have several pair.
