Try these before dropping that cash on your truck. Worth a shot anyway.

If you have the money then sell your truck and buy a 4wd, then get back with me on mud tires!

Is this the look your going for?

+1 on these. I use em and very impressed with what they handle. The only times I've gotten stuck is when I first got them put on and tested them, and then I was texting (damn gf) and not paying attention to the hole I was going through. They throw mud very well.

IMO the term mud tire is synonymous with the super swamper

This.

Boggers or some flavor of TSL. Anything else is an aggressive looking all terrain.

Honestly, MT tires are pretty stupid. They MIGHT pull better than good ATs, and they definitely don't last as long. Chances are if you get stuck with BFG AT's, you would have been stuck with KM2's as well. There isn't much difference off road.

IMO you should either get good all terrains, or big nasty arse meat hooks. I'm done buying MTs

Do you feel that 33s will be big enough with a 5" lift? I have 33s on a stock Sequoia, although it is a 4 wheel drive

I get that but with a 5" lift I would have thought 35s would be a little more appropriate.

But then again it is just a 2wd.

Exactly. Plus, they do look good with big lifts and small tires. GM only though. The rest look dumb. My F150 looks goofy with 305/55/20 and it's just got a leveling kit.

If you're set on MT's, I hope you're ready to shell out some serious money. I just got some 275/60/20 Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my truck. They are a 4 ply AT with a nice aggressive tread pattern and 50,000 mile tread life warranty. Got all 4 mounted and balanced for $975 or so. 275/60/20 is 33" fwiw.

ETA: Shake the haters, I'm leveling my 2wd and I have AT's, and I've been offroad in that truck 0 times. If you like the look go for it, but that said, you had better realize how expensive it will be just for looks.
