Was going to do Optima, but changed by mind. Running a 200hp Yamaha.

What are you asking for here? A cranking battery or a deep cycle battery? You're asking for both, which is not a good idea. Deep cycle batteries do not like life as cranking batteries.

I have a dual purpose cranking and deep cycle Cabelas AGM that’s worked fine for me for several years now.
For lead acid batteries. Search online for what’s cheapest and a store that’s most convenient for you if you need to swap a battery for warranty.

If you don't want lithium, get the ones from Sam's.

I'm getting the boat rewired and the guy doing it is recommending an AGM for the crank. Will carry a back up battery and will run a 36V 50aH lithium battery for the Rip Tide. Also going to run an onboard charger while its running.

I have a Duracell marine cranking battery from Sams that is 9 years old and still good.

Over the last 20+ years I have had great luck with the WalMart marine batteries. The amount of money I have spent on these batteries across 3 boats still hasn't reached the cost of these new fancy lithium batteries.

It's more for weight issues. I'll be saving close to 100 lbs just in trolling motor batteries alone.

I use the O'Reilly's Super Start AGM for my vehicles and Super Start Marine AGM for my boat cranking battery. Never had an issue.

I am going on 7 years with a blue top Optima. No complaints.

WalMart. For every battery. Replace 10-12 every spring between boats and campers....and they are the cheapest option and cheaper than buying expensive ones that last 18 months instead of 12...

I have had good success with Interstate.

Doesn’t really matter what you buy it will find a way to be dead when you get the boat out after winter

I think Yamaha recommends a flooded battery and not AGM. And not lithium. It has to do with the Yamaha alternator. I've got a new boat and four lithiums and a flooded cranking battery.
