If my neighbor baits his field and we hunt a few hundred yards ( out of sight of that field) can we be fined for hunting over baited fields?

Better idea is to bait the shite out of your neighbor's field for him.

But that would be against the law and I try to obey the rules.

Yea. I wasnt telling. But its basically we work the birds together as one group.

Their field is just different spot than ours. Only separation is cut over brush

Now there's a name that takes me back. Sumbitch made me cry once when I was 7 and hunting with my dad. That dude was intense.

Add paging Choirboy or 34 to your title, if you have serious baiting question.

I've never tried it, but I would imagine bating a dove would be quite difficult between all the wing flapping and the tiny pecker.

Zone of influence. A few hundred yards could easily get you nailed.

You have to have knowledge of said bait. Your neighbor baiting their field isn't of your concern. Now if you k of they bait and you hunt on their field, that's a different story.

There's 3 questions that have to be answered I bait cases.
Did you know?
Did you ask?
Did you look?

If you went hunting with somebody and you walked around the property and didn't see bait, you asked them if they baited and they said no, and you didn't have direct knowledge that they baited, you'll win in court.
