Anyone ever try the pour in radiator fluid leak fix? I noticed I have a very small weep/leak over the weekend and curious on how to fix it. It's a Toyota 4Runner.
TIA.

Rock Auto, new radiators aren't expensive or difficult to install.

Hell oem toyota parts are quite cheap.
Find a discounted dealer online and you might be all in for 200 bucks.
Having said that, blue devil works great. Nothing works miracles.

Don’t do stop leak. To many things it can ruin.

Stop leak clogged up all my tractor engine passages and caused overheating

Not worth it. Probably need to freshen up the coolant anyway so just drain as much as you can while changing rad.

Don't do it!!!
Fix the leak properly. That stop leak stuff might destroy something expensive

When I was young I h ad a friend when we where driving through the desert truck drinking fluid and we were broke he dumped a whole bottle of pepper in fluid from our camp stuff and topped it off with water. Seemed to work in a pinch to clog the pin hole or what ever was leaking

black pepper will stop a pretty substantial leak in a cooling system for a short period of time. My Grandfather and uncle, wanna be small time gangsters, ran a pay day car lot for years in Atlanta and I have stopped many a leaky radiator with black pepper to get it through an auction or off the lot with the paper signed. I am an adult now and understand it was wrong but it was one of their go tos when selling cars.

Are you sure it’s the radiator. There’s a weep hole on the water pump that leaks water when the water pump is going out

Bought one online for my daughter's mercedes e350 for less than 150.
She spent Sunday here, great lunch, and done by 1. 2 hour job AT MOST. Should be even more simpler in your vehicle
