I recently sold our 1983 doublewide we were using for our deer camp. I am looking into building a small "shopdiminium" and wanted to get some ideas from the OB. Has anyone on here built out one of these before? TIA

Interested in this as well, how many sq ft are you planning? Have you priced it per sq ft yet?

Don’t have a pic of it but we have a 40x80’ metal building with a big garage door on the front. Half of the interior is enclosed for the camp, and the front half is storage, secure tractor/ATV parking etc.

i buddy of mine back home in eufaula, al was done this way. half of the metal building was the "cabin" and the other half is the garage area. he's even got room for storage above the cabin.

I think 40x40 or 40x50. We are in the very early stages. We aren't going to have a garage for storage, just yet. May wait on that down the road or do a separate cheaper pole barn with no concrete.

in the process of doing one myself. I am looking at a few options
This is cost for building only not interior
Opt 1 20x40 red iron cost slab and building $25k
Opt 2 20x40 Galvanize tubing slab and building $15K
Opt 3 20x40 Custom Built Wood frame on blocks $17k
Opt 3 16x40 Custom built Wood frame on Blocks $14k
All options are with 1 3x7 door and 6 windows, i am estimating $10-12k to complete the interior. I have doing this research for a while. Goal was to keep cost at are below 30K.
I know the bigger the better, but still not sure what way i am going to go

It's not much, but it's a place to kill deer and drink beer.

I think the only thing you are missing is a set of horns on the hood.

footballdude i am leaning towards #3 also, i already sketched up plans for both the 16 and the 20, the 20 has a lot more room.
I am thinking of the return on my investment if i ever have to sell. that is why i an trying to keep price down. Either way i go the interior will be done really nice.
but i sure would like that red iron building. i need to learn to post pics. i built a 11'x36' mobile unit that we use now it pretty sweet. But just small
to the OP if you building 40x40, you could consider going high enough to make upstairs living and down stairs storage/deer cleaning/hang out area. If i had the funds that is what i would do
