Mine grill has wifi and bluetooth. It is pretty great being able to check temps during an overnight brisket and never get out of bed.

you sound kind of like manual transmission folks when they get a superiority complex because their car is a little bit harder to drive.

Pellet smoker won’t connect to Bluetooth
Just bought a camp chef smokepro DLX. Opened the app, plugged in the smoker and clicked the search for device button. The smoker never shows up to connect.

Does anyone have any experience with this situation?

Did you put the batteries in?

These dinosaurs act like they’re splitting the atom by building and tending fires. I did it that way for years, I actually enjoy the product more that way. That being said, my wife just put on the st. louis racks I trimmed and seasoned this morning and I turned my smoker on with my cell. She’s cruising along at 225 atm according to the app. I’ll get home from work just in time to wrap them. I get to enjoy ribs on a Tuesday when that was never a possibility in the past.

That and for folks like me that have two boys that are playing baseball, soccer, etc on weekends, not to mention the yardwork and errands to run, it makes it a hell of a lot easier to have ribs or bbq or a brisket or whatever, ready for dinner that night.

I actually got into a rant other day about how a large Kraft French onion dip is smaller than it used to be and no longer is enough for 1 family size bag of Ruffles. Throws my dip to chip ratio off
