Way back when Clinton was first elected I was just a young whippersnapper and didn't pay attention to political bs, but I've read that ole Ross Perot cost Bush Sr the election by taking votes away from him. So, with 2 primary parties, if I don't like either one, I should vote for someone who has no chance of winning? That's what you're saying(trolling) BV?

You humps have fricked up a perfectly legit bowhunting thread. I said to keep Poli-Tardness on the Poli-Tard board. Then you fell for a troll.

No, he was very serious. I may have scared him off. He thinks all cops are cold blooded killers just waiting for their chance to strike. He may be hiding his stash and polishing his tin foil hat

FWIW I do agree with him, but I won't vote for an independent. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I know my vote won't mean anything.

ETA I'm talking about the whole gun rights thing

No. I don't believe any single person's vote will effect meaningful change.

BV, what guns do you own? What type of AR/AK do you own/prefer to shoot?
I have a Les Baer custom AR in .223; I've also occasionally used my brother's AK. It’s currently in the home for defense. I use the AR in Louisiana for hogs and does and use it in Texas for hogs, does, and javelina (not a big enough caliber for Nilgai).
quote:

Researching on the ole interweb are we??? You were quick to post everything else. Why can't you just post what you think?
I apologize for the wait. I'm at work. I'm not sure why you're reaching for some type of "gotcha" moment. However, that is typical of someone who is defensive. I cannot blame you. I would be defensive too if I had to do the mental gymnastics that you must do to call yourself an outdoorsman while voting for a guy that supports banning certain rifles.
quote:

BV is full of crap. He's trying to discourage people from voting for Romney b/c he ans his liberal buddies know that the turnout for Obama is gonna be
So pathetic. I'm not the one supporting Obama's liberal policies; you are by voting for Romney. I encourage people not to proudly give their support to a sack of shite like Romney if they don't have to (living in a red state).
quote:

Where did you go BV? busy reading up on types of AR's? Why can't you just tell us what models/brands you own???
As I said before, "Sorry I couldn't answer at the time. Was preoccupied." I'd love to debate any policy imaginable. Feel free to post some links with merit.
quote:

Read BV's previous post on the poli board

We've been had. I TOLD YALL HE ARGUED LIKE A LIBERAL!
Do you have any idea what you even just linked? I was dogging Rubio for being too liberal for the GOP. The man is a train wreck. Goddam you're an idiot.

If I was what in the hell would that have to do with anything?
May explain why you don't support the 2nd and 4th amendments.
quote:

These are banned?
In Massachusetts because of Mitt Romney.
quote:

Pointing out that Romney voted on the ban of assault type rifles and high capacity magazines doesnt prove shite. If thats what the people in his area wanted then he did a good job imo.
So banning guns is good if thats what the majority of liberals want?
quote:

Ive seen BV post plenty in the OT cop bashing threads and while lurking the poli board. None of this surprises me
Yes. I despise the lengths at which government has gone to take away the rights of the people; especially by way of cop.
quote:

None of this surprises me
It's not surprising I support conservative values and the Constitution. I always have. Sorry if it offends you.

No, he was very serious.
Correct.

Get over yourself 'tard.

False. No need to lie to support your side of the argument. You don't have to put words in my mouth. If you hate the Constitution then admit it and don't try to make me the bad guy. It reflects poorly on your part.

The OB isn't on my side. They're voting for a guy that has banned rifles. I don't support limits on the 2nd amendment or the 4th.

Any reason why I shouldn't? Are you not paying attention to your surroundings? You may be out of the loop. They're both terrible.

So you're saying(trolling) that if you live in a state that is already guaranteed to go for one candidate, and your vote is not needed, that you still openly support and vote for that person even though what he stands for is opposite of what you stand for and what the Constitution stands for?

I am genuinely sorry for making this political. I take responsibility. This thread only confirms my fear that the Outdoor board has finally gone the way of the OT. If they OB wants AR's banned then by all means keep voting for candidates that agree.

If you can't get the OB on "your side", who are you going to get? You're just no good at persuading, are you?
