Not sure what the name represents.

Reddit Video

They haven't uploaded the video to their YouTube channel, yet.

Some folks in the comments are asking how it compares to the Zastava ZPAP85. I'm not an AK guy so I don't know what it means for Palmetto to release this new variant when they already have 10s or 100s of AK variants. Seems to be part of their "Soviet Arms" lineup so it must be a "premium" option like the Sabre series.

Initially launching in 5.56 only.

Will follow up the launch with the following calibers:
5.45
.300 blk
7.62x39

I predict the same availability as the micro dagger.

x39 is pretty much unobtanium right now, is it not? With all the import restrictions FJB has in place I'm not sure x39 is the draw it once was.

I had heard this Krink was coming. They're pretty excited about it over there. I hope they have one that we can hold and cuddle while I'm over there tomorrow picking up some parts for another A10 build I'm working-on.

I do love my two Sabres, particularly my billeted M110 SASS clone. I actually like my Sabres better than my SIG 716s. I'm probably going to sell those now and use the funds for something else.

That would be badass in 9mm.

7.62 ammo seems to be about the same price as 5.56

PSA is doing God’s work.

With that said, their head of development might as well be me. I have a lot of good ideas too. A 44 magnum compact that holds 12 rounds and has the recoil of a 9mm. That will be as available as the micro dagger as the poster above mentioned.

It is their version of the Krinkov, aka AKS-74U, which shoots the 5.45x39.5 round.

I’d like another AK and one of those may be it.

Always loved the "krinks." If PSA can avoid screwing up the QC, I'd get one for sure.

The reason is the AKS-74U has been a prized variant in the AK owning world since can I remember, at least back in the 90s. They are much smaller and compact versus any of the 100 series and are closer to PDW than other SBR AKs.

I wonder if one got the braced version and seeing how it appears they have a folding trunion on it, what would it entail to convert to its true sbr form.

I'm pretty sure PSA already makes a shorty AK in 9mm.

They do. Here you go: PSA AK-V
