I know there are stories everywhere, some from reputable people, (Daniel Boone for example) some were obviously Smoke screens by bootleggers etc, but Native American are still adamant these things exist, Kinda hoping they don’t. I have never heard or seen anything like this but my son did see a red wolf a few years thats often mistaken for a monster.

Anyone on here see anything etc like this? just fine by me if there are no responses

I worked with a guy that said prince William or maybe Harry was a shape shifting reptilian. Needless to say, I didn’t pay much attention. Carry on.

I’m pretty sure I saw a UFO last night while camping on Chatuge Lake in NC. At first I thought it was Starlink satellites, but it was moving too quickly to be orbiting satellites and all three lights moved in unison until they disappeared from the sky.

Who knows what’s really out there.

I don’t discount anything anymore, except that we are nearly as smart as we think we are, and much of what we think we know is bullshite.

There definitely USED to be (what we think was) a skinwalker that prowled around Spur 70/Plattenville.

I saw a wolf, huge beast, in the scrub across from the strip where Associated Foods market was. I knew when I met its eyes that it was not a normal animal. That particular section of road gave me and my wife the frissons every time we drove past coming or going to BR. Even our dog, who ain't scared of anything, was freaked out by that section of road.

He either died or moved away at some point a year or two before we moved back home (2012-2014), because one day when were driving past, the vibe was just...gone. felt completely normal, no issues. Even the dog was chill.

Also had an experience or two with Rougarou at Houmas House in Darrow.

Warren Womack (a sort of known louisiana Bowhunter) claims to have seen one back in the day along the river. Similar to what you're describing irrc.

I've seen some weird shite but it was probably the mushrooms.

I believe in aliens and ghosts.

Aliens because our universe is too infinite to believe that our dumbasses are this special.

Ghosts because I believe in an afterlife and have had unexplainable experiences.

Here's a post I made on Reddit some time ago explaining a ghost story I experienced.

I wanted to share the only first hand paranormal experience I have ever had.

I was 21 years old. Me and my fiance at the time moved in with her parents after our rental home was destroyed in a flood. We ended up staying there for 12 months before moving into our "forever home", MY FOREVER HOME LOL. This event happened about one or two months before we moved out. Let me preface this with the home was built in the 70s is only 1400 sqft and had no violent occurrences in the home. With that said, my ex, her brother, sister, and mother admit to experiencing many strange events. Your normal stuff like covers being pulled to the bottom of the bed. An object being launched across the room. All the cabinets in the kitchen being open. Multiple toys turning on all at once. Footsteps down the hallways with shadows. Closets opening on their own. Multiple sightings of a little girl. Ya know, normal American home life stuff.

So here's my story. Me and my fiance, who's a brutally deep sleeper, were laying in bed asleep with our newborn son in the crib. Our two small dogs were also laying in the bed also. We slept in the expansion that had a window unit AC for cooling, and a stand up plastic fan about two feet from the foot of the bed. If you've ever been in a home with a window unit you would know that sometimes they product tons of condensation that ends up dripping into the blower fan causing a loud ticking noise. The noise is super annoying and usually loud enough to wake you up. Also if you have ever had a plastic fan that had a loose guard you would know the noise of the fan blades striking the guard and how similar it is to the sound of condensation hiring ac blower blades. Sorry for the long description. So we are asleep in the bed and I woke up, what turned out to be 20 minutes before it was time to wake for work which is normal for me, to the sound of condensation hitting the ac blades. The room is dark minus the dim light of a streetlight struggling to shine through our blackout curtains. I didn't pay no mind to it at first and kept my eyes closed. But the ticking noise grew louder over the next 30-60 seconds. Then I noticed my dog started growling at the foot of the bed and my other dog was shaking pinned up next to me under the covers. So I leaned up and opened my eyes to see why my dog was growling. He was at the foot of my bed growling at something. That's when I noticed the ticking noise wasn't coming from the ac unit. It was actually coming from our fan. But not only that, the fan was rocking back and forth violently by about 6-8in in both directions. After I stared at it for probably 20 seconds in disbelief my dog whimpered and ran to the front of the bed crawled under the covers and started shivering as well. I've been awake for at least 2 mins at this point and am watching my fan rock violently back and forth while making a brutally loud ticking noise as the fan blades are crashing into the guard. It finally stopped moving and making noise shortly after my dog ran under the covers. I tried waking my fiance up after hiding under the covers but she shrugged me off. I laid there eyes wide open until my alarm went off a few minutes later. After I got up and had the lights on I tried to recreate the noise from the fan by pressing very hard on the guard to make the blades strike it but it took 20-30lbs for it to happen since I had just cleaned and tightened the guard a few days before. It never happened again. We moved out soon after.

On a side story, like 2 years before that. My friend and I visited her house while we were dating and everyone ran to Walmart except my friend. There was no room in the vehicle so he stayed in the house in the expansion by himself, chilling on a couch playing a video game. Its winter time and about 30°F outside and night time. When we got back my friend was sitting outside. The first thing he told me was he will never stay in that house alone again. He said within 15 minutes of us leaving he heard heavy bootsteps walking up and down the hallway.

I'm planning on asking the new owners soon if they have experienced anything weird since moving in.

Threads like this make me scared to walk in the woods. Not because I'm afraid of any of these imaginary creatures but because I'm afraid of being anywhere near any of the people that "see" these imaginary creatures and are armed.

Reminds me of the the thread from a few years ago where a poster talked about hearing something behind him in the woods and spinning around firing blindly to "scare off" whatever was stalking him.

My good buddy in Norway SC told me a story one night. His mother lives a few houses down in the house he grew up in. He said that a ghost lives in his house. I didnt believe him at first but the guy started getting goosebumps telling me. He said the thing is really not harmful, but every now and then a lady in red walks through a room. He said his friends have all seen it and would testify.

He had a ghost hunters group come in. They did their research and found out that a car had gotten into an accident near their house and a girl had died. What triggered the sightings was his mother playing 50's music. She is completely harmless and just a projection.

the only creepy part was the stuff they caught on their microphones. You can hear a girl barely once or twice, but you hear a guy. according to the ghost people, the girls spirit is too weak so the guy helps her communicate. everytime I stay I stay in the spare room and play 50's music. I wanna see the thing.

When I do walk over there, a small field separates the place...I always feel like im being watched. My buddy said he always feels the same way.

Did they seem to maintain the same brightness until they disappeared out of view? If so, I’ve seen one like this before in SW Virginia

I still haven't brought myself the courage to go question the new owners. I feel like I would sound like a crazy person talking about ghosts to them. One day I will though.

They were the same brightness until they disappeared like someone hit the lights. It was strange.

I think one of our posters was followed by bigfoot once and Mr. Bigfoot was tapping on trees with a log or something. Then we had belief in the Berwick Monster.
