I'd bring the beer and ammo. We need a OBGT at someone's lease where they have a severe hog problem

Must have the nasty assed boars or his nuts. Get a sow or her piglets. They are quite tasty.

grinders and tenderizers make most of em nice and tasty.. at least the fairly young ones.... although, we've made some 300 lb boars taste tasty, too..

Eat their balls, then they can't breed.

The only thing I've seen work well is somebody with good dogs who knows what they're doing. He won't kill/trap them all, but they'll quit hanging around so much when they start getting bit and shot at.

Doesn't seem to affect the deer very much. A guy at a place I hunt has been having them ran hard on his place and we're still seeing deer but far less hogs.

If you're rounding up a hog slaughtering posse I'd like to volunteer as well. theltballer@gmail.com

I have a strong back and have never had a chance to take a feral hog.

LT, I've added you email to my contacts for hog hunting. I'm getting all giddy just thinking about having a well coordinated hog slaughter to mow those bitches down. Bacon for all!

After deer season is over, the end of Feb., gonna get with the lease manager and see about coordinating a hog hunt. Then I'll start an "All Hands Hog Hunt" thread.

I hunt in Montpelier and have pictures like this every night. From 6pm to 4:30am. We have only seen a hand full of pigs during the day. We are also running dogs for the second time in a month as soon as the water goes down a bit.

OK Downshift, you're the man. Get the 30-30 lever action ready and give me your email or keep an eye open for the "All Hands" thread.

Wish I had some good pig dogs to work. Been thinking about getting a pair of bay dogs but I'm holding out. I want a good squirrel dog first
