Scouted a few weekends ago and saw a couple thousand ducks. Was excited for two weeks thinking about it. Cold weather came in just in time for the opener.

Today: not a single duck killed. Saw a few groups early but none that acted even remotely interested in our spot. Pretty disappointing.

GC report was 15 @7:10, 2 mal, 2 grey, 11 gw waiting on 3 at report time. JB report was solid also with water across roads in spots, done for 7:30 and had enough to kill several limits.
Marsh club slow, waiting for CC report. CC had limits all around.

No corn lol. Heard plenty of shooting early until about 7:00, we shot our 12th bird at about 8:00, 8 grays, 2 bwt, 1 gwt, and 1 spoony

Rockport, Tx

13 ducks for 3 men including 6 pintail drakes. Got off to a late and weren’t ready until 15-20 min after LST. A ton of birds seen but with 20mph winds they were looking for much calmer areas than we were.

Sorry no pics were taken.
