Hypothetical...you’re in a bass tournament (undisclosed location) and you get to select one lure only to fish the tournament with. What are you going with?

For me..Senko in watermelon w/red flakes

If you're talking about one lure and presentation, probably a shaky head rigged trick worm, either watermelon red or red-bug depending on the water conditions.

A jig would be up there as well.

Fluke. It can be rigged to fish any part of the water column from top water to down deep

Watermelon seed 5” Yum Dinger has been my bread and butter. No matter the weather or water conditions, it has caught me fish without fail.

White and chartreuse double willow spinner bait. There’s better but I’m most confident with this.

Green pumpkin Brush Hog. I can rig that up any way and have even caught weightless swimming them on top.

Have to be a jig or a spinner bait, plastics wouldn’t last...

Brush Hog > Senko. Not by much though. Followed by a Spinnerbait or Jig.

Fluke

This guy gets it. Obviously going to need extras because the plastics only last 1-2 fish. Albino fluke is my go to bait. Bass eat shad and it resembles a shad but it’s not overkill on pressured fish. You can slow it down and fish it like a worm, you can double rig it with a barrel swivel and swim them like a swim bait, you can just rig them so many ways to make the fish eat it.
