I need some new fender flares BAD. Mine are 94 vintage.

I'm thinking about getting rims with less offset and doing away with the fender flares though. They don't do much good. My roof still gets completely covered in mud.

Ive had the flares for a year but just finally got them back from my buddy that was painting them. I had a set of mud flaps(even though I hate the look) to go on, but they rubbed. waste of $200

No the doors wouldn't open. But I didn't have a lift kit or tires that big so may be the same.

We had a 12k winch double lined and a tractor jerking on it to get it started. The tree the truck with the winch was tied to ended up getting pulled down. It was only 8" but the only one available.

Eta- looked at your pics again. Your buried to the axle. Yeah that sucks.

The worst I've ever seen a truck get stuck it was a 2wd ford ranger. True story. Had to snatch block a 12k lb winch to get it out. Completely destroyed the draw-tite

My truck sucks arse in the mud. The turbo lag and surge after does not work well with crowned over roads and clay. End up just sliding all over the place from ditch on one side to ditch on the other side. I have to ride the brake to keep the boost up

I had two Tacomas with Swampers before that, so it might not be a good comparison

Josey - Has your 4wd acted up on you at all??? I went to use mine at work last week and the front tires wouldn't pull. I took it in and they said there was a service bulletin for it, something about a wiring harness going to the transfer case.

The actuators will go out on them. Not overly difficult to change.

I witnessed a F250 disappear into a "puddle" once.

Sad day for that truck.

It's still under warranty so I'll let them deal with it.

It may have been an actuator. I thought he said wiring harness though.

Had to come back the next day to get it out. A 100 HP tractor was on standby if the winch couldn't get it.

You can't compare a diesel to a Tacoma with swampers.
