Love Noveske. Their shite has gotten retarded in terms of pricing but they have some really high quality components and build quality, especially their barrels

I still have a Wilson billet stripped upper and lower set from a few years ago that I need to do something with at some point.
I bought 3 at the time ($100 for the set posted in this tread, I think).
One is a 6.5 grendel
one is my thermal gun in .223
Have been thinking about building it in a .22 ARC or something like that.

That was the CTD going out of business sale. I posted it. Couldn’t believe the prices. I ended up buying a Wilson hand guard and stock as well. I had a Larure 18” OBR barrel I bought from optics planet for $140 that went on that build. Rifle cost me $700. Best deal I’ve ever come across.
They also had the Underwood 300 BO 194 gr extreme expansion for $30 a box. I remember calling them
Asking if I could buy all they had but would only let me buy 25 boxes. They sell for $70 a box most the places. Best 300 subs you can buy.

Yep, I got two cases of the Underwood ammo and a Wilson set. Bit of a bummer that the lower is a blem though, and is the only blem item I’ve ever bought that I could easily find the blem on. I’ll just cerakote it if I ever decide on a build for it.

Currently doing a build and I’m looking at chrome BCGs. Has anyone used a Microbest brand? They seem to have good reviews

Microbest is the industry standard I thought.
ETA: a cheaper one is on AR15Disounts.com

I rattle canned my DD MK18 upper and DD lower today in Rapco 30118 Field Drab. It’s an almost spot on match for KAC taupe. Turned out pretty sweet

I’m way out of my element here in this thread, but putting together a few BCM’s currently and have been trying to catch Scalarworks BUIS in stock and they finally have complete sets available.
